The chalet for sale in La Plagne is situated on the edge of the village centre of Montalbert. Part of the large Paradiski domain, Montalbert is a traditional village at 1400m altitude with a gondola lift connecting to the other villages of La Plagne. The resort operates in both the winter and summer seasons making it an ideal rental property. The tree-lined pistes descend to the resort level and snow-cannons assure the snow cover throughout the winter season. During the summer, there are numerous activities and festivals in the village itself as well as surrounding areas.
The owners renovated the interior of the property over the last few years. The furniture and beds are recently replaced and the whole chalet was repainted inside at the end of 2020. The spa room was also renovated at the same time. The property is therefore in good condition throughout and available for immediate occupation on completion of the sale.
Ski Chalet Interior and Layout
Chalet Anniek has good quality materials and equipment throughout the property and is therefore low maintenance. It complies with the French fire regulations (ERP) for commercial rental with fire doors, fire alarm and emergency lighting. The chalet is 300m2 floor space, over three floors. The architect designed our La Plagne chalet to be used as a top quality catered ski chalet when we built it in 2002. For this reason, the open-plan space and semi-commercial kitchen is perfect for groups of friends with a focus on the dining experience.
Each of the 8 bedrooms has an en-suite shower or bathroom and some have balconies. All of the bedrooms are similar in size. However, the original design and build means a buyer could join some bedrooms together to create a family home with large accommodation. This chalet for sale is therefore ideal for either a commercial rental activity or as a family home with some easy modifications.
Entrance to the property is via steps from the road. You enter through a covered porchway with ski lockers into the boot room. The boot room has electric boot-warmers (available by separate negotiation). A stock room provides space for storage and doubles as a laundry with plumbing for a washing machine and tumble dryer venting.
On the ground floor there are two en-suite bedrooms with terraces as well as a separate WC. You will also find the beautiful spa room which was renovated in 2020. A place to relax at the end of a hard day on the mountain!
The hot-tub is a sunken hexagonal shape and can accommodate 4-6 people, with a variety of jets and bubbles. The jacuzzi is of a commercial standard with automatic water overflow (like a swimming pool). The balance tank, sand filter and pump machinery is housed in a purpose-built, insulated shed outside the building.
A large sauna cabin seats 4-6 people and is equipped with a sauna oven and tools. There is a also a large open shower with hydro-massage jets for before and after use of the sauna or jacuzzi facilities. Benches, mirrors, shelves for towels and hooks on the wall to one side complete the room as a great relaxation area.
The living and dining area of our La Plagne chalet is fully open plan. There is plenty of space for large groups of people to be comfortable getting together around the log fire. The seating area has place for at least 16 people as does the dining table. A perfect venue for getting together for a dinner party! The furniture is light oak and was replaced recently (not shown in the pictures). The owners are happy to include the furniture in the sale by separate arrangement if desired.
There is a large wrap-around balcony which has uninterrupted and spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the mountains at the front side. The side balcony is large enough for a barbecue area with tables and chairs – a favourite place in the summer months. There is also a small outside area at the back of the chalet. So no matter what time of the day, you can always catch a few rays of sunshine!
You will also find a double en-suite bedroom on this floor with window to the side of the chalet.
The kitchen is equipped to cater for all the occupants of the chalet in style. The units are light oak and custom fitted with extensive worktops. The appliances are built-in and included in the chalet sale:

2nd Floor – Bedrooms
The chalet for sale in La Plagne has 8 en-suite bedrooms which are a mixture of twin and double rooms. Each room has it’s own en-suite facilities with good quality bathroom equipment including Grohe taps and shower equipment. All bathrooms have full floor to ceiling tiling and are fitted with a low-level WC and vanity sink unit with mirror and light above. All but one of the en-suites has a fully tiled shower cubicle with glass doors and heated towel rails. One bathroom has a bath with a glass vanity panel and shower above, rather than a shower cubicle.
The bedrooms are currently fully furnished with Hypnos beds and mattresses. The furniture is light oak (which is not shown in the photographs as it was recently replaced). The owners are happy to include the beds and furniture in the sale by separate arrangement if required along with other equipment.
